Some notifications should not be seen by users after a certain amount of time. For example, you might not want a notification advertising a limited-time offer to be delivered after the offer expires to users turning their phone or browser on.

To make sure a notification isn't delivered past a certain delay, use the Expiration section of the advanced tab of the notification edition interface.
